Officially.. Paris Saint-Germain includes Dembele from Barcelona
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain announced, on Saturday, the transfer of French striker Ousmane Dembele to the French champion, with a 5-year contract, from the Spanish Premier League champion.
Barcelona said it had reached an agreement to transfer Dembele to Paris Saint-Germain for 50.4 million euros ($55.16 million).
Dembele, 26, had renewed his contract with the Spanish giants last year until June 2024, after the expiration of his previous contract.
He won the Spanish League 3 times and the King's Cup twice in 6 years.
Dembele joined Barcelona in 2017 from Borussia Dortmund for 105 million euros, excluding bonuses.
Thus, Dembele became the ninth player contracted by the French capital during the current summer transfer period, after Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramosh, Slovakian defenders Milan Shkriniar and French Luca Hernandez, Uruguayan midfielders Manuel Ugarte and Italian Sher N'Dour, Spanish strikers Marco Asensio and South Korean Kang-In Lee, and Spanish goalkeeper Arno Tenas.
