Liverpool strengthen midfield with Japanese star
Liverpool on Friday announced the signing of Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo from Stuttgart.
Endo, 30, was in the last year of his contract at his club and knew he was the team captain.

Endo was used in all four matches played by the Japan national team at last year's World Cup.
Endo's arrival comes after Liverpool lost two other midfielders, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lafia, to Chelsea against the Reds.
